Historic Bill Passed for Hawaiian Projects

More than $1 Billion in funding has passed legislation for Hawaiian initiatives and projects. This funding will advance the Hawaiian homesteading list, as well as many other planned projects. Last year only $78 Million was passed for the same projects. Learn more about the decision at:
Renewable Energy Expansion
On Maui and Oahu, Hawaii Electic seeks to expand its renewable energy projects. A significant focus in this new push is for more renewable capacity instead of focusing heavily on intermittent energy such as solar or wind.
